The Story
La Historia
In the year 1552, a woman died in the arms of the man she loved. This is not her story. Not exactly.
Two thousand years later, under the shining dome of Gallathea, Eleonora has everything a woman of her position could want: a name that carries weight, a husband whose warmth she still can't quite believe, and power that gathers at her fingertips like black mist.
Then the dreams begin.
Night after night, Nora walks through another woman's life — Ana, heir to the black phoenix, blessed and feared in an age when magic walked the New World openly. Ana, who loved fiercely, ruled brilliantly, and died far too young. They're only dreams. Vivid, exhausting, impossibly detailed dreams. Nora is sure of that. Almost sure.
Because someone has vanished at the edge of the dome — the edge, everyone knows, of a world where nothing else survived. Because the dreams are growing longer, sharper, hungrier. And because some doors, once opened in sleep, do not stay closed.
It has simply been waiting for her to fall asleep.
No exactamente.
